On May 14, Justice Lee, Kong-Hyun delivered a lecture to over 180 students at his alma mater, Gurye Jungang Elementary School, on the theme "Every Success Requires Hardship." In his lecture, Justice Lee stressed, "People who do not succumb to difficulties and overcome them will succeed, but those who are frustrated and abandon themselves will fail," and continued, "I hope you will become a successful person by holding onto your dreams and working hard to achieve them, just like U.S. President Barrack Obama and professional golfer Shin Ji-ae. He also told the students, "I also hope that all of you will grow up to be a respected person who is very giving and leads a rewarding life."
