Constitutional Court of Korea, Constitutional Research Institute

The Constitutional Research Institute, a branch research institute of the Constitutional Court of Korea, has been holding International Symposia every year since 2012.

This year the 11th International Symposium of the Constitutional Research Institute will be held under the theme of “Global Constitutionalism and the System for the Protection of Global Human Rights.”

For the symposium, distinguished professors from the United States, Germany and Korea, Anne Peters, Mattias Kumm and JaeHwang Jeong will participate in the symposium as speakers. Each speaker will provide in-depth insights and opinions on the implementation of constitutional values and principles in addressing the various challenges facing the global community.

I hope that this International Symposium will provide an opportunity to broaden our understanding on the discourse of global constitutionalism and serve as a valuable venue for academic exchange where we can contemplate issues of the global community in the realm of constitutional law.
